Dublin readers, here are a few events taking place in the coming weeks I think you shouldn’t miss. If you’re not in Dublin, you should consider moving as there is a lot going on here!
Etsy & Toejam join up to put on a craft market at The Bernard Shaw as part of The Beatyard Festival. The Toejam Etsy Market will gather sellers from Etsy Ireland team and take place on Saturday October 27th from 12pm to 6pm. Seriously guys, go and have a look at my fellow team members work, they are brilliant. For more details, see the event Facebook page.
It is all happening in November at The Stoneybatter Guild. Liz Walsh is running two 4 week Textile Printing Courses and a One day Screen Printing Workshop. I have to admit I am very excited as textile printing is one of the topics that literally makes me buzz. I will be at the one day workshop by the way. See details on Liz’s site.
It is back! The Knitting and Stitching Show will take place from 1st to 4th November in RDS. Any needlecraft addict from the city will be there at some stage of the week-end. It gets more and more busy every year, my advice would be to try and visit the show on Thursday and/or Friday as the week-end days promise to be tricky when it comes to moving through the aisles. Also there are still some places to grab for the workshops. All details on their site.
