My favourite DIY gifts – tutorial round-up

Yes, I’m off to France hoping to find some sun. No, I didn’t left my poor readers unattended. This week I share the DIY gifts I most enjoyed making and giving so far this year.

Stuffed Menswear Bunny – Martha Stewart Blog

I made one for a baby boy but didn’t use menswear, instead I picked some green patterned cotton for the body and orange cotton for the ears. It came out quite well.

Gardener’s apron – Sew, Mama, Sew

I made this one for mother’s day. It is so nice and easy that I also made one for me. I made my own bias tape to match the inner fabric.

Baby kimono shoes – Lena’s Patterns

This one I made in one evening for a new baby girl in pink pattern fabric. I struggled a little bit because it was my first time using the sewing machine for years but the result was really satisfying.

What are your favourite gifts to make? I would like to know about the tutorials you use.
