As I was over in Paris for the week-end for my cousin’s birthday and some not so decadent fabric shopping, I don’t have a tutorial for you today. Instead I am sharing my personal tutorial to-do list: these are the projects I aim to complete in the coming weeks.
Flag Picnic Blanket
Ellen is sharing a tutorial for this lovely picnic blanket. As she says it would be a good introductory project to quilt-making, I think this is one for me.
Milkmaid skirt
Found on Crafterhours, this looks like the perfect skirt for a family holiday by the beach. I am even considering making several of them in various colours/patterns: such a skirt is a have! Thank you Adrianna.
Convertible clutch
I know, now you’ve seen it you want one too! This bag is so darling. I don’t know yet what fabric I will pick but I’m sure this will become an everyday favourite. This is from lbg studio.
Strippy pillow
Jera from Quilting in the rain is sharing this stunning tutorial to make a strippy pillow. Can you picture your sitting room with some of these guys adding their summery touch? I can.
What about you guys? What is on your to do list?
I think your blanket is adorable and inviting. Nice job!!
Thanks but the blanket is not mine: it is from Ellen at the LongThread blog.
Fun picnic blanket and strippy cushion! :- )
Aren’t they? I am glad you like them, I thought I had to share these lovelies.
Oh, I love these! Especially the blanket and pillow. That convertible clutch is fabulous as well. I’m definitely going to have to break out the sewing machine now.
Happy you like them. Please let me know how you get on, I would do the same whenever I get started with any of these projects.
